Mr. Lin said that because he wanted to know what happened at the time of the incident, including whether the collided road engineering vehicle had standardized operations at that time, his family asked Weilai to watch the video of the driving recorder, but on the afternoon of August 13, Weilai sent an engineer to adjust the driving recorder on the accident vehicle with them."After four or five hours, I finally got only 10 irrelevant videos, and most of them were in January this year. Except for one video when driving, the others were videos when parking, and the videos on the day of the incident were not at all!"
This made the Lins feel incredible, and Wei Lai gave Mr. Lin a preliminary explanation.It is not ruled out that the vehicle owner manually turned off the driving recorder before the incident, but the specific reasons need to be further verified.
At the same time, Mr. Lin also raised a question: they later learned that after the traffic police towed the accident car to the parking lot, Weilai Automobile sent a staff member to the parking lot to protect the accident car without notifying the Lin family and the traffic police department. However, the answer they got from Wei Lai was that they need to go through a stamping process and provide cloud data to the police and their families as soon as the process is over.
Mr. Lin said that the current progress is that the traffic police will identify the accident vehicle next Monday (that is, August 16), when Weilai will send two engineers to assist. "After the identification, the traffic police can give us the relevant monitoring, and Weilai’s background data will also be given to us in these days."
